| Clarke & Nancy Allen operate Sturdy Pumpkins Haunted Acres in Sodus, MI. The 1980 Buick is their first hearse. They originally got the hearse to use as a prop for Haunted Acres. But soon the Buick's subtle charms began to take effect, and they began researching hearses on the net. Then they began joining organizations like the PCS Buckeye Chapter, Grave Sights Hearse Club, and, yes, Eerie Shores! |
![]() Nancy & Clarke at the 2003 PCS multi-chapter Memorial Weekend party at CW Coach. Note the interesting panel between the front & rear doors. In addition to their both wearing hearse T-shirts, Nancy wore a hearse necklace and earrings. Just think- before the Buick they were serious folk, eking out a living on their Southwest Michigan farm. Now they're totally fun people. What a difference a hearse makes! |
| The skull hood ornament is especially nice. Clark has red and green lights in the eyes wired so they work in conjuction with the turn signals and brake lights. When the lights aren't on it looks like solid metal. |
| As I can attest, it can be difficult to stop with just one hearse, especially if you've got a whole farm for parking space. They went down to CW and got a 1978 Cadillac Miller Meteor Olympian, which needs some work. Now they're looking for a third hearse! |
